Awards for World's Best Male Artist, Best Female, Best Group, Best Electronic Dance Music Artist, Best Entertainer of the Year, Best Live Act, Best Song, Best Album and Best Video are voted online by the general public.

 THE LEGEND.

    
 The LEGEND AWARD was created to honour top recording artists who have made outstanding contributions to the Music Industry. Past recipients include Whitney Houston, Michael Jackson, Mariah Carey, Beyoncé, Jennifer Lopez, Prince, Janet Jackson, Celine Dion, Carlos Santana, Diana Ross, Stevie Wonder, Lionel Richie, Ray Charles, Barry White, Elton John, Tina Turner, Deep Purple, Luciano Pavarotti, Placido Domingo, Tony Bennett, Gloria Gaynor, Chaka Khan and more.

DIAMOND AWARD

The DIAMOND AWARD is presented to those select top-selling artists who have sold over 100 million Albums during their career. It is not presented every year.
 H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco presented the very first Diamond Award to Rod Stewart at the 2002 World Music Awards in Monte-Carlo and to Mariah Carey in 2003.

  
Celine Dion received this prestigious award from the Oscar winning actor Michael Douglas at the 2004 WMAs in the Thomas & Mac Arena in Las Vegas. Bon Jovi received the Award from Melissa Etheridge at the 2005 WMAs in the Kodak Theatre in Los Angeles.

Beyoncé presented the same Award to Michael Jackson at the 2006 WMAs in Earl's Court London on his last public appearance on TV and Ringo Starr accepted it on behalf of the Beatles at the 2008 WMAs in Monte Carlo.

Ke$ha Enters Rehab for eating disorder

Ke$ha is headed for a 30 days stint in rehab to treat a eating disorder in Chicago. It´s same rehab than Demi Lovato went in 2010.  "I'm a crusader for being yourself and loving yourself, but I've found it hard to practice," she said in a statement. "I'll be unavailable for the next 30 days, seeking treatment for my eating disorder. . . to learn to love myself again, exactly as I am."

The Cabildo of Fuerteventura has established that sales periods will be from 7^th January to 6^th  March and from July 1^st  to August 31^st  this year.

The Trade Commission of Fuerteventura had set the sales timetable. Shops will be also  open on Sundays and public holidays during 2014.
   this year shops will be open on Sundays and bank holidays:

on January 5^th  , April 17^th, May 30^th , August 15^th , November 1^st  and

December 6^th ,December 8^th , December 21^st and December 28^th.

LIL ZA ARRESTED FOR DRUGS POSSESION DURING JUSTIN BIEBER EGG RAID.

Justin Bieber and Lil Za were arrested on felony drugs possesion charges on Tuesday morning during a search of the singer's home for evidence in his alleged egg raid on a neighbor.

Za was taken away in handcuffs after Los Angeles County Sheriff's deputies searched Bieber's home in California. A representative for the Sheriff's department said that a substance that appeared to be cocaine was in "plain view" during the raid, though it was not reported how much of the drug was allegedly found.

Officials said that Bieber was "not connected" to the drugs that were found.

Bieber is suspect in a vandalism investigation and he was reportedly held in his garage during the search. Unnamed sources said deputies were looking for any evidence that would link Bieber to the egging, including other eggs in the house or video from the night of the incident.

DREAMLINER TOUCH  DOWN

The very latest innovation in aviation engineering recently visited Fuerteventura. The boing 787 Dreamliner is a brand new airplane produced by the American manufacturer and is at the cutting edge of its industry. This particular model was operated by Thomson Airways out Manchester, with 226 passengers on board. Among the enhancements of its design there is a  reduced fuel consumition, partially due to its sleek aerodynamics. As a result, this model causes a  20% less impact on the environment, generating considerably less CO2 emission than any other aircraft of a similar size. It is also 60% less noisy. The Dreamliner could become a regular sight at Fuerteventura´s airport, as Thomson airways are expected to operate 532 flights this winter.

Shakira's new single featuring Rihanna.

Shakira is teaming up with Rihanna for the first single of her upcoming studio album. Called "Can't Remember to Forget You'', the track will hit the charts on January 13.

Shakira announced via Twitter this week to release the artwork for the upcoming single, confirming rumors that the song is a collaboration with Rihanna.

Shakira is expected to release her next album in the coming months. She debuted her last record, "Sale el Sol," in 2010. The project performed well in international markets and also Stateside, as it hit No. 7 on the Billboard 200. Shakira, has long seen success with her collaborations. Past hits include 2006's "Hips Don't Lie" with Wyclef Jean and 2007's "Beautiful Liar" with Beyonce.
