A Spanish company makes plans to travel to the space in air balloon from the Canary Islands.

    The Canary Islands returns to be protagonist of the tourist space travels. Gran Canaria has a project to travel around the orbit. They would like to go to space by air balloon inflated with helium. The Spanish company, located in Barcelona, Zero2infinity, is studying to develop their project in the Technology Park of Fuerteventura.

     From 2015, the tourists will go to the space from the island. 36 Km high, to feel the weightlessness. The price of this travel is 110000 EUR each person.

     The “Bloon Project” of the company Zero2infinity, consists to ascend in a helium air balloon joined with a cabin. This cabin, has five meters of diameter, has capacity for four people and two crews. The people will see the space from its big windows. The travel is six hours long: three hours to go up, two hours to stay in the space and one hour to descend.

In the hands of the British filmmaker Ridley Scott, Fuerteventura will transform into the desert that Moses crossed the fleeing Jewish people from Egyptian bondage.

The dunes of Corralejo and Jandia will be the setting for the blockbuster shooting of the biblical Exodus, which runs from October to December. Scott and a team of about 300 people will roll on for three months; Scott flew in June to the coast of ElCotillo, Corralejo and Jandia by helicopter. Fuerteventura locations were conducted in complete secrecy. On the Island, Scott is looking for men with beards for extra cast.

Scott said that he will portray not just "the great things that everyone knows of Moses" but the relationship with the pharaoh Ramses II. This  film is expected to generate up to 9 million euros in business for the island.

Lucy Hale's new single 'You Sound Good to Me'

At long last, Lucy Hale (Pretty Little Liars's star) has dropped the first single from her upcoming Hollywood Records debut — and as promised, it’s not the slick actress-launching-a-singing-career pop track one might expect. Rather, ''You Sound Good To Me'' is a rootsy pop-country record with a lot of twang and attitude and a big singalong chorus.

The lyrics are spangled with vibrant little details, but the chorus (“Baby, you sound so good to me / Like a melody”) is nice and simple, a tight earworm; her pleasantly husky vocals coupled with the modern, guitar-driven production (the “Sweet Home Alabama”-style stomping on the bridge!) makes it sound like something that could easily hit on country radio.

Ke$ha Enters Rehab for eating disorder

Ke$ha is headed for a 30 days stint in rehab to treat a eating disorder in Chicago. It´s same rehab than Demi Lovato went in 2010.  "I'm a crusader for being yourself and loving yourself, but I've found it hard to practice," she said in a statement. "I'll be unavailable for the next 30 days, seeking treatment for my eating disorder. . . to learn to love myself again, exactly as I am."

The Cabildo of Fuerteventura has established that sales periods will be from 7^th January to 6^th  March and from July 1^st  to August 31^st  this year.

The Trade Commission of Fuerteventura had set the sales timetable. Shops will be also  open on Sundays and public holidays during 2014.

LIL ZA ARRESTED FOR DRUGS POSSESION DURING JUSTIN BIEBER EGG RAID.

Justin Bieber and Lil Za were arrested on felony drugs possesion charges on Tuesday morning during a search of the singer's home for evidence in his alleged egg raid on a neighbor.

Za was taken away in handcuffs after Los Angeles County Sheriff's deputies searched Bieber's home in California. A representative for the Sheriff's department said that a substance that appeared to be cocaine was in "plain view" during the raid, though it was not reported how much of the drug was allegedly found.

Officials said that Bieber was "not connected" to the drugs that were found.

Bieber is suspect in a vandalism investigation and he was reportedly held in his garage during the search. Unnamed sources said deputies were looking for any evidence that would link Bieber to the egging, including other eggs in the house or video from the night of the incident.

DREAMLINER TOUCH  DOWN

The very latest innovation in aviation engineering recently visited Fuerteventura. The boing 787 Dreamliner is a brand new airplane produced by the American manufacturer and is at the cutting edge of its industry. This particular model was operated by Thomson Airways out Manchester, with 226 passengers on board. Among the enhancements of its design there is a  reduced fuel consumition, partially due to its sleek aerodynamics. As a result, this model causes a  20% less impact on the environment, generating considerably less CO2 emission than any other aircraft of a similar size. It is also 60% less noisy. The Dreamliner could become a regular sight at Fuerteventura´s airport, as Thomson airways are expected to operate 532 flights this winter.
